Have you ever felt like everything seems pointless? You don't know where you're going, you don't know what to do next. You wonder if all you've done till now has been fruitful in some way or whether you will ever be able to do something that will make a difference.

Thinking back on times gone by, memories that still hold a place in my minds eye and wonder about those that I can no longer recall. Wonder if what I perceive as right is really right or whether I simply follow a mass that has been trained to follow the social norms that have been ingrained in us. Could those beliefs be mechanisms that have somehow brainwashed a logical thought process of the real truth? Working within a box that has been custom made for each of us. Each one appearing different but on close observation they may all actually be the same. The rules, the boundaries, the beliefs by which we are brought up, we are taught about and by which we are expected to be unconditionally faithful to.

Is it a wonder that most of us end up at a point where we wonder if the place we arrive at is really a beginning or an end. More importantly if it is a place we ourselves choose to be in. The unanswerable questions forever lurk in the dusty corners of our mind. We dare not dwell too closely on it. For fear of reaching a reality that would lead us to a state of confusion far worse than we exist in at present. Those that traveled to that length never return, forever seeking to go beyond the boundaries looking for that, which lurks on the other side. But none return to tell the story. For this journey never ends, an ongoing travel to last one a lifetime and more.

And yet the questions we push to the corner of our minds, still live there. They remained unanswered. We live on like programmed machines with instructions fed into our system and never going beyond the frame built for us. This tradition passed down the ages from father to son, from mother to daughter, from the old to the young. Each generation has their set of variations but yet they all still follow the same basic model that was initially built.

Never changing is the sermon we live up to in our heads. But has it really been preached for the better. And if it has, then who really gains?

For if there is logical reason then why are there yet so many questions left unanswered?
